Number Link — Connect the Numbers Puzzle
Number Link is a pure logic puzzle played on a rectangular grid. Each puzzle starts with numbered endpoints scattered across the board — your goal is to draw a continuous path connecting each pair of matching numbers so that every cell on the grid is filled exactly once. No paths may cross, overlap, or branch. Simple rules, but deceptively deep strategy.
Difficulty Levels
Small grids (5×5 – 6×6) with just a few pairs. Great for beginners.
Moderate grid size and more pairs. Requires planning ahead.
Larger grids with tighter layouts and more pairs to juggle.
Complex grids where every path must be carefully routed.
Near-maximum density — very little margin for error.
The largest grids, the most pairs, and the tightest constraints.
How to Play Number Link
Find the Pairs
Each number on the grid appears exactly twice. Your job is to connect each matching pair with a single, unbroken path.
Draw the Paths
Tap a number and drag (or click) to trace a path to its partner. Paths move through adjacent cells — up, down, left, or right, never diagonal.
Fill Every Cell
The puzzle is only solved when all pairs are connected and every grid cell is covered. Leaving empty cells means the solution isn't complete.
No Crossings
Paths can never cross or share a cell. If paths collide, you need to rethink your route — every solution has a unique, elegant arrangement.
Tips & Strategy
- → Start with corners and edges. Numbers near the border have fewer routing options, so solve them first to constrain the rest of the grid.
- → Look for forced paths. Sometimes only one route can reach a pair without cutting off another number — spot these first.
- → Avoid isolating regions. If a group of empty cells becomes unreachable, your current paths are wrong — backtrack early.
- → Think in blocks, not lines. On harder levels, trace rough regions for each color before committing to exact paths.
